After fleeing her hometown years ago, Kara Sinclair has returned to breathe life back into the bakery her deceased grandmother left behind. She has a history in this town—one that involves her one true love. A boy she’d thought she’d give her life to before circumstance got in the way. She needs to focus on her task, but one look at Maxwell Stone and all the old feelings return. And it isn’t long before she can think of nothing else but reigniting the passion they once shared.
Max never understood what drove Kara away all those years ago, and once she returns to their Canadian hometown, he’s hell bent on getting her back into his life…and his bed. But when he uncovers the reason she left him behind, he must decide if he can move on from the past and trust his heart with the only woman he’s ever loved.
This is my first Cristal Ryder story, but I absolutely loved it! http://www.nightowlerotica.com/nor/reviews/Mandy-reviews-Hot-Fusion-by-Cristal-Ryder.aspx
This is the first book I’ve read from Cristal Ryder and have to say it surpassed my needs for a good book. http://fallenangelreviews.com/2011/November/melindab-hotfusion.htm
I would recommend Hot Fusion <http://www.jasminejade.com/p-9637-hot-fusion.aspx> if you are looking for a well written shorter read, with some steamy action involved. http://www.sizzlinghotbooks.net/2011/10/hot-fusion-by-cristal-ryder.html?zx=ab080527a62cb69
Ms. Cristal did a great job at giving me a taste of old fashion romance. It is packed with enough heat to make you go to bed with the air conditioner on. The story is so well penned, that you will fall in love all over again! http://alliwantandmore.blogspot.com/2011/11/review-hot-fusion-by-cristal-ryder.html?spref=fb
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this story and highly recommend it for lovers of Erotica. I look forward to reading more from Ryder. http://www.nocturnereads.com/Being-Ariana—Ryder.html
The build up to the sex act is what makes this story and Ms. Ryder is fantastic at this. Very nicely done! http://www.twolipsreviews.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6725&Itemid=36
READ AN EXCERPT http://www.jasminejade.com/productspecs/9781419936333.htm
An expressionist through words and art from a young age, Cristal read her first romance at age twelve. Taylor Caldwell introduced her to passion and romance that fuelled a craving to read anything she could get her hands on. Reading long into the night until her father shouted for her to turn off the light.
Cristal wrote her first story at fifteen and spent many hours escaping into worlds she created on the walk to and from high school. Now, ready to experience all life has to offer, Cristal tempts her readers and takes them on journeys of passion to vivid locations with squirm-in-your-seat plots. The combination of artistic talent with her gift for the written word helps Cristal bring to life the characters and stories she weaves.
Cristal lives in a small Canadian town, is a single mom of two college-aged sons and, yes, they do fly home after their initial excitement of leaving the nest! Along with her writing, Cristal works full time in the law enforcement field, loves horses, the outdoors and will jet off at any given opportunity to see the world. Cristal is published with Ellora’s Cave and Lyrical Press.

“Max.” His name rolled around her tongue and she gripped the steering wheel tighter when her belly did a little flip-flop. She wondered if he’d stayed on his family’s orchard. Max’s dream had been to turn it into a profitable wine-making operation and it had been in the fledgling stages of transitioning into a vineyard when she left. Kara hadn’t kept track of Maxwell Grimes Stone II for two reasons. One being her focus on her own culinary career, and the other had been something she still refused to think about and a big reason why she had stayed away so long. She was sure Max had no idea what had really transpired to make her decide to leave. But coming home made her wonder.
