obsessive reader: This book was excellent. So refreshing from the usual paranormal everyday formula some authors rush to put out. Bad boys with bad ass powers who are incredibly sexy and all alpha male can only be described as awesome. The females in this book are also not the damsel in distress wait until someone saves me type either. It is so rare to find people of color in these types of books without all the typical stereotypes attached. Georgia Lyn Hunter, she’s happiest with a book in her hand and never thought about writing, too busy devouring the books out there until she read her first paranormal romance several years ago. She loves creating strong, alpha heroes who think they need no one and the heroines come along and knock them on their gorgeous asses.

Cantrell’s characters came to life right before my eyes and involved me in their world instantly because they were so easy to relate to. But the main reason I enjoyed this book so much is because of the emotion throughout.

It was heart wrenching, lighthearted, touching and romantic at times as well as filled with so many misunderstandings that you couldn’t help but cry and other times be laughing out loud.

A well-known Century City Producer once said Jo Sparkes “… writes some of the best dialogue I’ve read.” Not only are those words a compliment to Jo’s skills as a writer, but a true reflection of her commitment to her work as a screenwriter.

Jo Sparkes graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington College, a small liberal arts college famous for its creative writing program. Some years later, she renounced life in the corporate world to pursue her passion for writing. Jo went on to study for two years with Robert Powell; a student of renowned writers and teachers Lew Hunter, and Richard Walter, head and heart of UCLA’s Screenwriting Program.
